Tanwat is the utility that provides water supply in Njombe. The company has created an artificial damm as water reservoir. A large area in the Njombe region has been used for the cultivation of eucaliptus and pine trees. The reforestation of large areas has an important commercial value (green credits and sale of wood), and some spots have deeply changed in the last years.

This artificial basin has suggested us manu different activities during the weekends.

I've finally understood what the fish eat here, catching some worms form the mud I could hook one small and colorful fish. Teach a man to fish and we could probably had a grill of fish thousands of kilometers from the coast.

I think that, like in Göttingen, sometimes the human interference on the natural enviroment has a really suggestive and charming outcome.
