aggiornamento dell'Il-Leg(A)l team
Ahmed
Meguini, attivista appartenente al Mouvement spontané,
arrestato il 24 Luglio durante una delle manifestazioni
promosse dal NETWORK NOBORDER a Strasburgo e' uscito dall'isolamento.
Fino ad oggi Ahmed ha dovuto sopportare più di un
mese e mezzo d’isolamento e colloqui negati, solo in
questi giorni e' riuscito a vedere la madre e gli sara'
concesso di vedere il fratello. mentre gli sono ancora vietati
i colloqui con gli amici. Ahmed e' tuttora rinchiuso in
un reparto speciale, da dove ha richiesto la condizionale
e il rilascio anticipato (per ora previsto per i primi di
ottobre), questa richiesta verra' discussa la mattina del
17 settembre a Colmar una cittadina vicino Strasburgo. Un'altro
appello lo vede imputato, l'8 ottobre, sempre a Colmar,
su richiesta del procuratore di Strasburgo che ha chiesto
esplicitamente per Ahmed 8 mesi di reclusione, non soddisfatto
della durezza delle pene inflittegli fino ad ora.

agosto 02. Ultimi aggiornamenti da Strasburgo:
Ahmed, l' attivista del Mouvement Spontané, arrestato
a Strasburgo durante una manifestazione (il 24 luglio) organizzata
dai\lle partecipant* al nobordercamp, dopo aver passato
piu' di tre settimane in carcere in isolamento e' stato
processato questo pomeriggio, la sentenza:
8 mesi di reclusione
700 euro di multa
NESSUNA

Anche
dopo l' udienza ad Ahmed e' stato rifiutato il diritto di
ricevere visite, ovvero l' isolamento nella cella continua.
Questo il modo in cui si e' svolto il processo: entrata
al tribunale filtrata tutto il giorno numerosi sbirri e
guardia nazionale tutt' intorno al tribunale solo 6 persone
hanno potuto assistere al processo
IN
SINTESI:
incarcerazione, isolamento, udienza per la messa in liberta'
senza l' avvocato, mantenimento della detenzione e interdizione
a ricevere visite.
Con
queste misure le istituzioni francesi continuano il lavoro
di repressione e criminalizzazione deille attivist* noborder.
Un lavoro che ha trovato in Ahmed l' oggetto-simbolo su
cui scatenare tutta la ferocia repressiva della fortezza
europa. Per questo la punizione esemplare con cui hanno
attaccato Ahmed e' una punizione, attacco a tutti glile
attivist* noborder e a tutt* quelli che continuano a rivendicare
il diritto alla liberta' di movimento ed espressione in
luoghi in cui salvare uomini e donne dal naufragio e' un
reato!

20.8. The Collective to Support Ahmed did an action to brighten
up prison life at the Elsau jail. They launched red balloons,
attached flags denounced prisons and the conditions inside.
The action was also meant to let Ahmed know, the day before
his trial, that the police's attempt to criminalize him
will not go unnoticed.
Vienna,
20.8. About 30 people demonstrated in front of the French
embassy to show solidarity with Ahmed Menguini, one day
before his trial at the court in Strasbourg. Three people
tried to enter the embassy to demand the immediate release
of Ahmed, but that did not work. The demonstration lasted

Berlin,
15.8. About 40 people held a solidarity rally for Ahmed
in front of the French embassy. They protested against his
arrest and trial. The cops had a massive presence and their
controls were a bit annoying, but a part from that they
kept quiet. Speeches raised awareness of colonial justice
and also pointed to people charged at other global protests,
esp. Goeteborg.

20.8. Some people set up a french picnic at the French Institute.They
raised their wine glasses for a toast to freedom of expression
in France which was difficult because their mouths were
gagged. The real toast went to Ahmed and others who were
charged during the noborder camp and other global protests.

21.8. A demonstration took place in front of the sous-préfecture
to protest against police exaggerations.
Strasbourg,
21.8. A large assembly to support Ahmed and the struggle
against the criminalisation of activists took place at the
Tribunal de Strasbourg.

Dijon,
21.8. Responding to the appeal of the noborder network,
an assembly of 20 decorated the “cite judicaire”
with banners, in solidarity with political prisoners and
for free movement. A cage was set up, with a person inside
being harrassed by a guardian to represent the enclosure,
the isolation and the repression of which Ahmed has been
a victim since his arrest. The street was temporarily blocked
and leaflets were distributed.

Ci hanno chiamato terroristi, con media e polizia hanno
tentato di criminalizzare e reprimere le nostre idee di
liberta’ che non abbiamo mai cessato di rivendicare
scendendo ugualmente in piazza e per le strade di Strasburgo
con tutta la determinazione che ci vuole contro questo sistema
infame.
Terroristi
sono loro che ci hanno attaccato nelle strade e che ora
vorrebbero rinchiudere in un carcere di uno stato assassino
Ahmed, catturato dai boia in divisa mentre rivendicava in
una dimostrazione il diritto alla liberta’ di movimento
e informazione, il diritto al libero accesso alle risorse
del pianeta, la fine delle deportazioni e del controllo
sociale.
TERRORISTI SONO LORO !
In questo momento ci stringiamo ad Ahmed supportandolo con
tutta la nostra solidarieta’ certi che non sara’
un tribunale ad arrestare il nostro percorso di liberazione
dai confini, dalle nazioni e dall’ ingiustizia sociale
che questo sistema di morte continua a produrre.

12.Aug.02 - The support collective for Ahmed (and for the
other activists that have been criminalized after the noborder
demonstrations) from Strasbourg has decided to invite all
organizations and associations to act in solidarity against
the criminalization of activists, to express their support
for Ahmed on the 21st of Augustus during his trail, and
to demand the end of his isolation in prison and support
his demand to be freed.
We invite you to start a broad mobilization of solidarity
and to publish and to distribute the adjoined petition and
any other protest documents that we will send out in the
future so that we can build pressure behind the demand to
release Ahmed from prison (the hearing can take place next
week but the exact date has not yet been fixed).
